Offboarding at Agapic

All offboarding steps are outlined below. The offboarding process is facilitated by the team member’s manager.

Manager Tasks

  1. Copy this offboarding review template and indicate whether the team member’s departure is regrettable or not regrettable, and whether the team member would be eligible for rehire in the future or not.
    • Regrettable: The team member’s departure has a significant negative impact on the company, its customers, its projects, or the team. The team member was a good and consistent performer both in terms of results and behaviors specifically upholding Agapic values.
    • Not Regrettable: The team member’s departure has a minimal impact on the company, its customers, its projects, or the team. The team member has not been meeting expectations due to conduct, culture, values misalignment, or performance concerns.
  2. Revoke the team member’s access to all Agapic systems.
    1. Agapic’s product.
    2. The Agapic Unfiltered YouTube account by clicking “Manage Permissions” and removing their Agapic email address.

  3. Remind the team member of their duty of Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure: “I know you are a professional. Please keep in mind the agreement you signed when you joined the team.”
  4. Consider inviting the team member to contact you at anytime for any reason.
  5. If an Agapic Alumni channel has been set up, consider adding the team member to that channel.
  6. Inform key stakeholders of the team member’s departure. Consider using a company-wide channel.
